ABOUT THE
INTERIM PERIOD
"Interim" is the term used to refer to the period between rectors. It can often be a time of intentional congregational development. It is synonymous with "interval" and "intervening time," so by definition is temporary. This leads to the terms "interim period," "interim ministry" and "interim priests." Once elected and "installed," a rector had permanent tenure. Thus, a clergy person who serves during an interim period is referred to as a Interim Priest, not a Interim Rector. An intentional interim priest is a clergy person whose special calling is to help parishes during the transitional period of interim. One important thing to know is a clergy person can not be a candidate for Rectorship at a parish for which he or she has been a (recent) interim or supply priest.

ABOUT
SUPPLY PRIEST
A supply Priest is a clergy person who leads a parish in worship and celebrates (blesses and consecrates) the Eucharist when the regular priest (canonical priest) is not in residence. Typically, the supply priest is available only for scheduled services - the Saturday 5:15 pm and Sunday 9:30 am services in our case - and usually has no other duties within the parish. That is, the supply priest does not assume any administrative or other leadership responsibilities.
Our list of supply priest include Don Berry, John LaVole, Karen Lewis, and Peter Williams.
The wardens have oversight of the parish. Our senior warden is Heidi Philley. Our junior warden is Jim White.
Lay Eucharist ministers are available for home ministry including bring consecrated Eucharist to those in need. Supply priest are on call for some pastoral duties.
