RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
LEADERSHIP
Our most recent Property Management projects.... contractor Dwight Dibble repairs the outside...parish volunteers paint the inside of the Rectory and make minor repairs to windows and doors...in preparation for Fr. Tim's and the Reger family move in day in August 2010.
And not quite as "sexy" but much needed plumbing repairs... replacing cracked cast iron and lead pipes with new PVC.

About the Resource Management
Leadership Groups
In 2009, the Resource Management group was divided into two separate groups, the Property Management group and the Investment group. A Finance committee was also formed.
- The Property Management Leadership Group is responsible for the improvements, maintenance, and operations of St. James’ buildings and grounds. Heidi Philley chairs this committee.
- The Investment Committee manages the portfolio of investments for both endowment and non-endowment funds, and advises the vestry on future income from those investments. Gordon Hayes, Jr., chairs this committee.
- The Finance Committee coordinates stewardship and investment income with the budget projections developed by the treasurer, and it assists the vestry with determining a final budget. Craig Heuss chairs this committee.

Stewardship
My church is composed of people like me. I help make it what it is.
It will be friendly if I am.
Its pews willl be filled if I help fill them.
It will do great work if I work.
It will make generous gifts to many causes if I am a generous giver.
It will bring other people into its worship and fellowship if I invite and bring them.
It will be a church of loyalty and love, of fearlessness and faith, a church with a noble spirit, if I, who make it what it is, am filled with these same things.
Therefore, with the help of God, I shall dedicate myself to the task of being all the things that I want my church to be.
Fair trade coffee St. James Church uses fair trade coffee. We see this as one step we can take in helping to alleviate poverty in the world by helping these farmers provide financially for their families.
