About Parish Life The purpose of the Parish Life Leadership Group is to "lead members in practicing radical hospitality, claiming gifts for ministry and giving abundantly." Within this ministry, new members are welcomed and oriented into the life of this parish. "Helping Hands" will be organized to assist persons in our parish during a time of need. Members will be given opportunities to discover and use their spiritual gifts in the church. Activities for fellowship throughout the year are planned, providing us with opportunities to know one another and enjoy being together as a parish family.
Ways to give through this ministry:
- Financial giving enables us to have coffee hour, fellowship dinners, pancake suppers, the Epiphany party, Christmas party, Easter service coffee hour celebration and picnics.
- Signing up for coffee hour, potluck suppers and parties means more hands, making less work for everyone.
- Signing up to attend parish-wide activities makes it more fun for everyone.
- Volunteering to organize our "Helping Hands" ministry would help us better care for one another in times of need.
- Freely giving of yourself to any area of ministry strengths us as a faith community.

The PARISH LIFE GROUP
Group members are co-chairs Wendy Weber and Randy Wilson, along with Mike Baldwin, Libby Beardsell, Randy Ericson, Phil McKnight and Terry Neil. The Leadership Group is open to all who are interested in St. James fellowship events.
Parish life is an integral part of who we are and what we do together in terms of fellowship, inreach to one another, stewardship and sharing our gifts. Feedback and suggestions are always welcome!

Fair trade coffee St. James Church uses fair trade coffee. We see this as one step we can take in helping to alleviate poverty in the world by helping these farmers provide financially for their families.
