| Meet Peter Williams |
 |
Hi! I am Peter Williams, and I am happy to be visiting at St James for a couple of months. I currently am the part‐time vicar for the Deaf ministry of the diocese, Ephphatha Parish. I also am working part time for "The New Ministry Project" looking into establishing a new Episcopal congregation in Syracuse.
I was received by Skip Adams into the clergy of the Episcopal Church in October 2008, and before that I was a Roman Catholic priest for 22 years. Sometimes people ask me "What didn't you like in the Catholic Church?" I tell them it was really not about that. I realize now more than ever that God was calling me TO something new, not away from something bad. My decision has been blessed and affirmed more than I can describe.
I currently live in Syracuse and will be commuting to Clinton on weekends. I know Jenny’s departure is going to leave a big empty space in many hearts at St James. Be assured of my prayers in this time of transition, and I ask your prayers that my ministry in Clinton will be helpful to your wonderful community.

(Peter Williams will lead worship two weekends each month.)
