FORMATION

LECTIONARY
REFLECTION GROUP

The lectionary group meets Wednesdays, from noon to 1 pm, in the church library. Together we will reflect on the upcoming lectionary readings from the Revised Common Lectionary(RCL) which has been adopted by all Episcopal churches . We then discuss what we hear in them.  No preparation is needed.  Favorite translations of the Bible are welcome.  Feel free to bring your lunch.

Women's Spirituality Group
First Mondays of the month
7:15 - 8:45 pm

The Women's Spirituality Group is open to any woman who wants to explore more deeply her connection to God.

Men's Study Group
Friday Mornings 7:30-8:30am

The Friday Morning Men's Group meets every week.  The group meets from 7:30-8:45am in the church library.  The Group is taking a break during the month of March.

Haiti was struck by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake, on Jan 12, 2010 and Chile suffered a 8.8 earthquake on Feb. 28th. St. James outreach has sent more than $1200 in Haiti relief funds.  At the Parish pancake brunch on Feb 14th, we collected another $800 which will be send shortly.  To donate, send checks to the church office, made out to ER-D or to St. James with Haiti on the memo line. To donate material goods; go to Agape Flights. Agape Flights is flying often and able to land in Port au Prince. The supplies are reaching the medical clinics, orphanages, schools, and churches.
