About our Rector
the Rev. Timothy S. Reger
Fr. Tim is a native of the Central New York area. His passion in ministry is inviting others into transformative relationship with God. It is a great joy for him to be called to serve among the people of the St. James community. He is particularly drawn to its mission to come together in Christ to develop spiritually; find opportunities for outreach; receive comfort when in need; and engage in sacred experiences through our liturgy, music, fellowship, and mutual ministry.
Fr. Tim has been practicing centering prayers for many years. He is interested in mysticism, the history of spirituality, and prayer. He is an avid reader, practices photography and plays "contemplative" tennis, at least, sometimes. He loves preparing and celebrating feasts around tables with other people. He and wife Rahel have two children.
